F.A.Q.

Q - What is Hard 90?

A - Hard 90 is a non-profit, youth baseball program founded in December, 2005. The mission of the program is to teach life skills to young players through the game of baseball. Our program emphasizes the importance of hard work, accountability, responsibility, dedication and teamwork in reaching individual and group goals.

Q - What does Hard 90 offer?

Hard 90 offers personalized, private instruction in all aspects of the game of baseball, as well as a structured, year-round group workout program, weekly camps, clinics and competitive tournament teams.

Q - Why the name, "Hard 90?"

A - Regulation base paths are 90 feet. We teach our athletes to put in maximum effort when running the bases and in all other aspects of the game of baseball.

Q - How do I join Hard 90?

A - Download an application via this link, fill it out then mail it to us or bring it by our office inside Arena Softball. You may also bring it when you arrive at your first workout.

Q - How do I join a tournament team?

A - Although we occasionally have dedicated tryout dates for older age groups, the vast majority of our tournament ball players are selected within the context of our regular workout program, where interested participants are evaluated by our professional coaching staff. We are an "open" program so competition for the 12-13 roster spots on each team is ongoing. We do strive to have multiple teams at each level to accommodate every participant who wants to play tournament ball, but can only do so if enough demand exists. Tournament team participation requires 75% participation in our workout program, unless prior arrangements are made in advance.

Q - Do I have to participate on a tournament team to join Hard 90?

A - No. Hard 90 is a high school and college preparatory baseball program designed to accommodate players of all abilities from ages seven to 17. Athletes can benefit greatly from our workout program and other services without any team involvement.

Q - How much do lessons cost and how do I sign up for them?
