Mission of Hard 90

Our mission is to develop and improve young athletes' capabilities in the game of baseball through instruction and training.  Discipline, teamwork, social interaction and a strong work ethic are at the core of our teaching philosophy.  With dedication and persistence, one can learn to overcome the challenges and obstacles in lifeOur teams make life interesting with many trials and tribulations.  A sense of team is always stressed, we're all here to accomplish a goal together.  In life, you have to build a good team around you.

Some of our guiding principals:

1) SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE (training does not have to be overdone, just done right)

2) A PLAYER SHOULD ALWAYS BE LEARNING, CHALLENGED AND HAVING FUN

3) INSTRUCTORS ARE ROLE MODELS AND MENTORS

4) HAVING A "MINDSET" FOR THE GAME IS VERY IMPORTANT AND CONSTANTLY INGRAINED

5) THERE'S A BIG JUMP FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO COLLEGE BALL BUT WITH MORE OPPORTUNITIES IF PARENTS/PLAYERS ARE OPEN-MINDED

6) A PLAYER WHO ACTS AS A SERIOUS BALL PLAYER WILL HAVE OTHERS TREAT THEM THAT WAY

7) A PLAYER SUCCEEDS WITH BOTH HUMILITY AND RESPECT FOR THE GAME AND FOR OTHERS AROUND THEM

8) A PLAYER IS MORE VALUABLE TO A TEAM WITH ABILITIES TO PLAY MORE THAN ONE POSITION

9) A PLAYER'S MISTAKES ARE PART OF THE LEARNING PROCESS

10) HARD WORK BEATS TALENT IN THE END
