Hustle Premier 9's take Championship in Woodland Wednesday, August 15, 2012

HARD 90 HUSTLE PREMIER 9's TAKE 'SHIP IN WOODLAND!

The Hard 90 Hustle Premier 9's had a lot of solid at bats and pitched well to take their first title of the year.  They went 3-0 to beat the heat and their competition at the River City Classic held in Woodland on August 11-12.  Congratulations to Manager John Alkire and the entire team on a great effort.  The Legacy Premier 10's also made it to their Championship game in the same tournament, only to be thwarted by the talented Chico Aces after going 3-0 in pool play and their playoffs.  The Power Premier 11's also made it to their Championship game but they were playing "UP" against older competition, going 2-2 and losing in the final tilt.  The Power 11's played very well at times, going 1-1 in pool play but losing their playoff game.  The Cycle 12's had a rough go of it, playing poorly defensively throughout the event and had some tough breaks on top of it.  The Pastime Premier 14's lost some very close contest in their USSSA event at Billy Hebert Field in Stockton, never really getting their bats going like they can.  The Pastime 14's were in a one day Super Series event in Davis, going 1-1 and losing a good battle in their Championship game.  The Rally/Phenom Premier 16's went 2-2 in their River City Classic event at McAuliffe, playing very well.  Congrats to all our teams who never wilted in the heat and got stronger mentally in the process!
