Hard 90 Partners with USA Baseball

Hard 90 Baseball is excited to announce a partnership with USA Baseball to run National Team Identification Camps in the Sacramento Area.

USA Baseball leverages these camps as a first step in identifying amateur baseball players worthy of consideration for a trip to Cary, NC to represent the Northwest Region in the Champions Cup, where they will be considered for National Team participation.

Over the years, Hard 90 Baseball has been a strong supporter of USA Baseball. In recent years, Hard 90 has taken teams to Identification Events in Northern California and Arizona, where many players were selected to make the trip to North Carolina for the Champions Cup events and the National Team Development Program.

The USA Baseball Program allows players ages 11 - 16 (birth years 2003 - 2008), the opportunity to assess their skill level against top players in the Sacramento Region, Northern California, the Northwest the United States and potentially the rest of the world. The USA Baseball Program factors in objective metrics that allows a player to see where they stack up and develop a plan to improve.

In addition to a comparative assessment, the NTIS process offers players selected to each level an incredible baseball experience the that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Additionally, selection to these events builds the baseball resume.

Sacramento dates to be announced on February 4, 2019.

ABOUT THE NATIONAL TEAM IDENTIFICATION SERIES

The USA Baseball National Team Identification Series (NTIS) is the most comprehensive player identification program offered by USA Baseball. Launched in 2009, the program was created to provide all athletes from across the United States an opportunity to compete for a spot on a USA Baseball national team.

Players from across the country will begin the identification process by participating in camps and tryouts at the local level in their designated region. Every region will name 32 athletes from each of the 11U, 12U and 13U age groups, and 36 athletes from each of the 14U, 15U and 16U age groups, to two All-Region teams that will participate in the NTIS Champions Cup at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
